What Is Pilates?
Pilates is a
unique, intelligent and functional exercise. Pilates works from the
inside out by strengthening the core. Today many exercise
“gurus” and personal trainers are focusing on the core
muscles. But Joseph Pilates was concentrating on the core over 60 years
ago. While other exercise methods focus on isolating one muscle group
at a time, Pilates is a total body workout. It utilizes multiple muscle
groups simultaneously, creating a complete workout that integrates the
upper torso and lower body with the core. |

injured a day in my life. The whole country, the whole world should be
doing my exercises. They’d be happier.” Joseph Pilates,
